Ensure Entitlement Sustainable Development

Project Title: Ensure Entitlement Sustainable Development (EESD) Programme with Special Focus on MGNREGA
Objective To support the community to increase entitlements under various flagship government welfare schemes, particularly MNREGA
Activities
- Coordination with village and block level stakeholders
- Monthly meetings with women groups and collectives
- Meeting with NRC
- Training of MNREGA Niyojan Samiti about MNREGA work
- Training of CBO leaders and team members on social audit
- Quarterly Interface meetings at block level with MNREGA officials
Outcomes
- 1,600 women were collectivised for various initiatives under realisation of government schemes
- 957 new MNREGA job cards were issued separately in the name of women head
- Average 46 days of MNREGA work ensured for women during the implementation period
- 117 women opened separate bank account for transaction and savings
- 5 years perspective plan of MNREGA preared in active participation of women’s groups
